NWN EE Linux version has been updated.

Rather surprised that Broforce has been mentioned so little.

That game has had a non-functional online mode (where the vast majority of content is, with the single-player having roughly 3 hours of gametime), for the better part of its decade-long life here on GoG.

I would say that claiming Free Lives considers GoG players as second-class-citizens would be hugely generous towards them.

I contacted the devs of Chef. No idea what happened, but the devs "forgot" about GOG after submitting them to their publisher the DLCs and updates.

I see that Chef has gotten an update on Galaxy (the offline installers haven't been updated, though, very unfortunately). Still waiting on the DLC, but the dev said it should be within the month. Hopefully everything gets resolved and it reaches Steam parity in the next few weeks.

Laboux: I'd like to add Mafia 3, both versions -- 2K apparently cut from the GOG version the DLC items you get from linking to the 2k account. Before it was available from the get go due to not being able to link the GOG version to 2k
Not just Mafia 3. All 3 "Definitive" games have missing content.

Please vote on these two wish lists:

Splatsch: I just send an email to the dev to inform him, it's very possible that it's simply an oversight !
This updated yesterday. I'm not sure what was included, but the version number says 1.84.

Thanks for the heads up ! I received an email from the dev, apologizing for the delay :)
I was awaiting for the update to be available for offline installers before giving the news here (we'll certainly have it next week).

We should be now have this included (from 02/02/24's update, on steam):
-Fixed shops roguelike mode with controller
-Fixed armour not working
-Fixed obscure pet reviving bug
-Fixed shop sell price going down as bartering increased bug
-Increased droprate of Valchist Heart and Molten Core
-All dragons can now drop Molten Core
-Reduce craft quantity needed to "master" high end items, to make completion more achievable
-Increased mining drops quantity
-Increased creature capture rate
-Autohide activity log
-Hard mode enemy damage to player reduced slightly

But can't say about the latest update. If it's not included, we'll certainly have it later :)

Kingdoms and Castles is back to 2 issues rather than 3.

They updated the build and it's now identical to Steam.
Alien: Isolation

There is no way to play the game in brazilian portuguese and no ETA to fix this either.

The game offers this language. whether via galaxy or via offline setup. You had trouble looking at the languages when you installed it.

Yes, you can select Brazilian Portuguese. No, it doesn't do a thing:

Select brazilian portuguese does nothing. That's the point.

The question would be if it does anything in steam (or other, in any case) version.
Because if not, then - shitty as it is - it's not second class treatment for GOG customers. Just lack of care about customers in general.
Which - while condemnable - is not an object of this thread.

Agreed - however it is a reason to create a ticket and legally even a reason to get refunded since the game was sold with a language it does not support.

Edit: I saw this has alreday been tried and as usual the issue has been forwarded without any given ETA meaning they will probably forget about it. Totally not problematic to sell a game this way and not offering the user at least an ETA when they will get what they paid for. Kudos to GOG!

In somewhat similar vein, I've seen Spacebourne 2 lagging in updates behind everyone's favourite vapour platform, for at least two weeks now, iirc GOG's version is still 3.0.10, while steam has its on 4.0.1. And apparently the dev had submitted the updates to GOG, but the platform freezes for him and the uploads are not coming through.
He claims he contacted GOG about it, but got no response from them whatsoever.

Makes you wonder, how many of those issues are developers/publishers being unwilling to supply updates and missing features, and how much of it is indeed GOG being unable to provide for them.

Sorry for the OT ... but just fyi - I remember that Inceton devs once had technical problems updating GOG and they ended up using a VPN saying that they are in Poland and that was what helped them in the end. Maybe this will work here as well.
