Leroux: Sounds like you could wait a little longer. If it's not discounted during the Holiday sale, treat yourself to it on Christmas. ;)

abbayarra: Thank you for the reply. The reason I was asking is because I have the two weeks before christmas as vacation and as I'm stuck at home I'd love to give this game a play through.

I have really enjoyed Terraria and I think I'd really enjoy Starbound.
Not sure how set you are on buying on GOG, but otherwise Starbound is on sale on Humble Bundle: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/starbound

I'm sorry but I don't have a steam account and I think that humble has always meant steam.

I disagreed with steams DRM policy a long time ago when they were first starting and thus I don't have an account. Yeah, I looked at it and it requires steam.

It says DRM free, so the purchase on Humble Bundle should provide both a Steam key and a DRM free installer that should be available for download from Humble Bundle. They half like a half-DRM-free approach where some games come with keys and direct downloads for an installer.

It also says a steam account it required. I must admit I'd rather pay full price and give the money to GOG than go to someone I don't know.
