Not watched the video (hate having to watch a 30 minute video when I can read the same text in 3 minutes).
But as someone that refuses to use Steam I've heard al kind of Stupid (seriously stupid and indoctrinated) stuff from the ridiculously named PC Master race.

IIRC, our TV does support 24Hz, but I think frame interpolation (aka. Intelligent Frame Creation, aka. ...) is great.
A million cinema enthusiasts just cried out in terror, but it's your TV of course. ;)

PC gamers aren't exempt from their gaming peasantry.
One time I had one tell me that using a wii remote was too much effort, another defended crap framerates when they weren't even a videogame journalist.
