mk47at: That's the one that has been renamed to TR1X, right?

https://github.com/LostArtefacts/TR1X
I'm not sure - it's possible. I haven't looked at it recently.

From what I remember, I believe that one is based on a decompilation of the original TR1 engine, which is why the gameplay mechanics are very faithful.
ah, finally released :D I'm sure the locals are angry about it for some reason or another

amok: £25 for three games with the expansionn = £8.33 for each game with its expansions

seems fair to me
The original trilogy goes on sale for 1,99€, i don't think a few mods and expansions are worth 28.99€ in fact i think it's ridiculous. The remasters should just be bundled with the originals.

Surprisingly the original games haven't been on sale in a while. Feels like they're pushing the remasters, which makes this look even worse.

Then people will complain that they have to buy the remasters to get the original games. LOL.
I'm glad they're here and I look forward to picking them up when(if) the price is right.

yes... i do really expect a game to go on a 90% sale on the day it is released... that makes perfect sense,

I mean as a free upgrade/bonus to the original. Besides some visuals and expansions there is nothing new here (maybe some censored content, because they just have to mess up the classic, but nothing new).

Timboli: Would grab them in an instant if a realistic price.

Unbelievable what some expect to get away with, with remasters.

Creating a game is a whole lot more work on many levels, than doing a remaster.

And you'd think they could come up with a far better discount for those of us who already own the originals at GOG.
Exactly my thoughts. The trilogy should be priced at about 20 bucks, not more. I'll wait for 50% dicount.
Has the Steam port bug been removed from the game in the meantime?
Offline saving should be fixed now.
high rated
Can confirm the saving is fixed, I've been playing all day offline and not problem with saving and loading.

Cool thing! I'm installing the game at the moment and the installer files are named "setup_tomb_raider_i-iii_remastered_1.01-savefix2_(71193)" :)

It's really nice to see those remasters on GoG. Now let's continue with the newer TR games that are still missing...

maybe, but if... and go with me on a limb here, I know I am doing crazy talk from far left out of field - but if you have the original thrilogy, could there possibly be the strange chance that you are not the target audience?
Does this include original data files?
I mean: "Would I be able to use them with open-source engines for playing?"
Or does it contain some kind of re-packs, which can run only on this new "remastered" engine and simply imitate low-poly version?
Thanks.
Okay, after 20 minutes of playing, I have little 2 things to complain about:

- Controls: I'm using modern controls, which are fine but when I'm aiming at an anemy I think Lara should rather strafe left and right instead of turning there and lose aim. This makes fights unnecessarily difficult. It feels like it's a mix of the old controls and current standards.

- Camera: Moving the camera with the mouse feels good but the camera also tries to follow Lara on it's own so you have to correct it more than you should've to.

Otherwise I like the new graphics and the gameplay isn't bad, although it's almost as clunky as the original.
